Safety Precautions

Safety Precautions for Your Protection During & following the COVID-19 Pandemic

The health and well-being of my clients is a top priority. At Faces Artistry I make every effort to provide a safe and clean environment for my clients and visitors. The practice of  Universal and Standard Precautions is important in order to protect my clients, employees and the public from disease and infection. As a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional, (CPCP), I have taken an examination and oath to maintain 12 hours of continuing education  every 2 years, including a Bloodborne Pathogens Training and Infection Control Course of no less than 4 hours every year.

As news of the Coronavirus, (COVID-19) in our community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely. There are sensible precautions that Technicians and Clients take in evaluating who can be treated and who should postpone appointments.

When arriving for appointments, we ask that clients practice safe social distancing in consideration of other tenants or persons who may be entering or leaving the building. We ask that clients who have masks bring them and cover to your appointment. If you arrive early, please wait in the car until your appointment time.  We are also asking that clients do not bring additional guests or persons who would not be considered necessary into the building or office. If you are feeling ill, have a fever, coughing or experiencing any flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.

Please note that we are taking additional precautionary measures. In addition to providing my clients with a clean and safe procedure area, utilizing the proper Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE), such as masks gloves and eye protection), we are applying an effective disinfectant to all door handles, desks, reception chairs and light switches in the office, lobby bathroom and building entrance doors.

For new clients interested in a consultation, I am available anytime to answer your questions and send you information and my brochure by e-mail in order to set up a free consultation by phone or in person, permitting. We are always focused on safety and understand the importance of good hygiene and sound health practices.

Thanks to all for your continued support. Best wishes and health to you all and remember to practice safe social distancing and wash your hands often!

Planning for your procedure

Planning for your procedure

A client history will be taken in order to qualify you for a safe procedure.  There may be  medications you are taking or pre-existing conditions that you may want to discuss with Pamela before you consider permanent cosmetics. If you had any recent surgeries or medical concerns, you may need to consult with your physician. Upon scheduling your free and private consultation, you will be instructed to wear your makeup so that Pam may evaluate the color tone and shape of your current makeup design. The preferences of every client are specific and unique. Pamela takes into account the individual differences and desires of her clients.

At Faces Artistry, strict hygienic standards are maintained in order to provide a safe environment for your procedure. All materials including the pen are entirely disposable. The design of the disposal Softap Comfort System tool and technique make the procedure quite tolerable, especially for seniors, with whom Pamela specializes.

At Faces Artistry, Pamela is interested in setting up an initial consultation appointment which can be partially conducted by a preliminary phone interview. This way we may review the necessary forms, Pre and Post instructions including a personal history. There may be medical conditions or medications that you are taking that we should discuss, including an examination of the procedure area.

In some cases, it will be necessary for clients to stop using certain skin care treatments in advance so they do not interfere with the procedure. Clients should not plan any activities that would expose the treatment areas to sun, wind, chlorinated pools, salt water and other precautions for a period of time following the procedure.

It is a good idea to plan your procedures well in advance of holidays or vacations so that you may be scheduled in plenty of time to complete all appointments.

Pamela is booking weeks in advance, so it is important to contact the office as soon as possible if you are interested in having a procedure done.
